Types of Eczema Related cream that i 've used.

What kind of cream are the best for Eczema sufferor. Well from my vast experiences of using so much cream . I had been a loyal person to the QV cream , Cetaphil Cream , Eczerra ( Malaysian Made) cream , Derrma...cream and to now Cetamacrogol ointment. After all this commercial cream i decide to go organic which i just bought the cream online just a while ago. The California baby Calendula cream which work magically  on my nephew eczema. 

QV Cream

Introduction of QV cream

This rich, protective cream nourishes the skin and helps repair dry areas. Enriched with squalene, a natural ingredient found in the skin, QV Cream replenishes and hydrates areas prone to dryness, such as elbows, knees, hands and neck. Seals in the skin’s own natural moisture by acting as a protective barrier. It helps in  dry, scaly skin,winter itch,rashes,ichthyosis,xerosis,sun damaged skin,dermatitis atopic and infantile eczema.

This cream is available vastly in Malaysia , you can easily find it in Watson or Guardian but not the big tub 

Ingredient of QV cream

Glycerol 10.0%, light liquid paraffin 10.0% and soft white paraffin 5.0%.Methyl hydroxybenzoate and dichlorobenzyl alcohol.

Best usage for very dry skin

Prices in Watson and guardian are varies between RM35-50

Cetaphil Super Dry Skin Moisturiser and Cetaphil Washer

If you visit their website there are various type of moisturiser that are available for reference. I had been using the Cetaphil super dry skin Moisturiser when QV were out of stock at times. So It could be a second option too. This was also recommended by the Doctor if i run out my stock of the Cetamacrogol ointment too.

Their cleanser were a great tool for babies too. Some of the mothers that i know use them on their kids as it is gentle and fragrance free. Before moving to Aqua dermis i used this for ethan.

Eczerra ( This is a Malaysia Brand which is Produced by HOE  Pharmacetuticals Sdn.Bhd.)

                                                     The bottle is the cleanser and the tube is the moisturiser.

If you happen to bet at any clinic in malaysia , some of the clinic they would have the advertisement for Eczerra , the eczema cream by HOE. I happen to know it by visitting the clinic and looking at those advertisement. I thought it would good as there are a few testimonial by mothers that had seen improvement ever since they use Eczerra. But it seem like it doesn't suit ethan. The moisturiser cream were slightly watery.Not sure because of the whether of what hehehe.

The cleanser is said to formulated with stimu-tex to help relieve itch and reduce skin irritation. This are quite good. Because the bottle is small and it doesn't come in big bottle . I bought and tried it was okay overall. For the cream it also containt stimu-tex and it contains  Saccharide  Isomerate which mimics the skin 'natural moisturising factor. They are quite good as in economic size because the product size only come in small tub and smallbottle.

These are all the moisturiser that i had been using, I know  most probably you guys will think you crazy ah put so much cream on your little one. But think about it, if i don't try those cream , how would i know it will work.


Just found out that the Aqua Dermis cleanser and cetaphil cleanser contain SLS. I was shocks. To be continue.
